How-to use Vital Nutrient Face + Eye Balm

How to Use

  • Natural separation may occur. Gently massage the tube before use.
  • This product contains small beads of concentrated mango butter, we suggest warming the product in your palm before applying it to your face. This product is concentrated and waterless, these hydrating beads of mango butter will help seal in your skin's hydration and protect it from the elements. 
  • We suggest warming a small amount of balm (pea size) in the palm of your hand. Just press and hold any remaining concentrated mango butter beads and they will melt in 1-2 seconds in your palm. 
  • Apply this balm to your face, neck, and gently around the eyes after toner, serum, and/or moisturizer.
  • Use daily.
  • Store in a cool place.

Our Vital Nutrients Face + Eye Balm is great for all seasons, not just the colder winter months.

SUMMER: After being exposed to sun and seawater, the skin will feel extra dehydrated and thirsty, so before going to bed apply Face Balm to your entire face, chest, neck, and cleavage to recover skin’s radiance. Read our post on a vacation skincare regime for more info.

Packaging our balms in a tube is not only good for the environment, but for the product as well. The new tube will allow the balms to be better protected from oxidation and bacteria, making them last longer and remain as effective as the day they were opened. The application is less messy from a tube, making our balms travel friendly and easy to apply on the go.

I love to use this balm to hydrate fine lines. I use it every night after I apply my Rejuvenating + Hydrating Face serum. I apply face balm on the fine lines I have around my eyes, nose and on my forehead. I love doing this all year round because it really helps keep the skin plump and hydrated, and reduces the visibility of my fine lines.

    Love it!

    I started using this balm adding hyaluronic acid to my regimen about 3 weeks ago and I can already see the benefits. Clearer, toned skin, lines have improved. This will be a staple in my routine moving forward!

    Fantastic

    I have skin that’s prone to breaking out, so I often avoid using anything heavy with oils. I thought I would give this a try as an eye treatment, because bakuchiol has done wonders for clearing up my skin and making it look younger

    This balm is AMAZING. I absolutely love it. My eyes are less puffy, and I’ve tried this as a general face serum before my day and night cream, and my skin is softer, less spotty and perfectly moisturized

    This has made it into my daily use arsenal

    Love the product, the packaging not so much

    The packaging of this product went from being in an easily accessible tin container to this tube and I've found it a)not to last as long b) much more difficult to get the right amount of balm out. I typically end up using much more than is needed and I have no way of adding extra balm back into the tube. I understand the benefits of the tube, however, I wonder if there is a way to optimize how users can use the product without impacting the benefits of the tube (environmental friendly, protecting the balm from bacteria and oxidative effects). I definitely feel this product does not last as long anymore. Overall, I enjoy the balm and it always makes my skin feel beautiful!

    Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it and it helps us make better products. We are so sorry to hear you are disliking the new tube format for the face + Eye balm. One way to reduce the amount of balm coming out of the tube is to massage and warm up the tube before pressing it (slowly), so just a little bit of balm will come out. When you are nearing the end of the tube we recommend cutting the tube in half so you can scoop out all the remaining balm.

    Excellent eye cream

    This balm work wonders on the area around my eyes - my fine lines are reduced and my skin looks super hydrated and nourished. I was using a premium brand eye cream previously that was very expensive, and this balm is so much more effective. And using the reusable silicone eye mask after putting on the balm really does improve absorption. I would highly recommend this product!
