Disclaimer: I use BOTH P.A. Dry Brushes
This vegan dry brush is firmer than the wooden-handled, boar-bristled brush and I use it on days I want more exfoliation. I typically will use this brush at night and use the wooden brush in the morning because the vegan brush is a bit stiffer and leaves my neck red for awhile (which is no biggie, unless I am going somewhere quickly).
I have been dry brushing for a month and a half, daily or twice daily. What I noticed from this specific dry brush is the drastic decrease in the size of my pores!! I’m talking about the pores on my cheeks, closest to my nose, that area. My pores have always been large and looked “open,” which is enhanced when I apply liquid or cream foundation. That is a thing of the past now, which I am THRILLED about! Shrunken pores for the win!
The fine lines around my eyes and the deeper lines on my forehead have softened. Not only that, but my hyperpigmentation (melasma from pregnancy) has lightened! I have moderate melasma by the way, on my temple, upper lip, under my brow, and under my eyes on my upper cheeks — all are fading nicely with consistent dry brushing.
Here’s what I LOVE — dry brushing allows your skin to soak up every teeny tiny bit of product that you apply to your face and neck (wherever you dry brush). You will notice this immediately!! Your products become instantly more effective. I reach for my acid treatments, serums, peptides, retinols (not in that order of course) after I dry brush because ALL of it will soak into my skin and WORK.
